M9 and PT99 cross compatibility

    Does anyone know anything about the compatibility of M9 parts and PT99 parts?
    I have a KWC PT99, and I would like to get a threaded barrel for it. The only ones I can find are meant for the M9. From what I can tell from looking closely, they seem to be the same general shape. There is a lever on the M9 barrel that isn't present on the PT99 barrel, but from what I can tell it doesn't get in the way on the PT99. Before I spend €40 on it however, I thought I'd get a second opinion on it. Has anyone tried swapping these parts out, and does it work?

    I don't have a camera to take a picture of the barrel, so I have to link to pictures from another thread.

    you could always just get a silencer adapter

    I would, but I haven't seen any silencer adaptors anywhere. I've seen plenty of threaded barrels for the M9 though.
