Changing Aer Lingus flight - 1 person instead of all

    Hi,

tl;dr: have flight booked, me and 3 others. We will all fly out on the same flight, and will return same date - but I need to return two days after them now. Is it possible for me, and only me, to change my flight date and leave theirs unaffected?

Not sure if this is the right subforum.

I have a flight booked to the UK with myself and 3 others in the party.

However, I need to stay longer than the other three, therefore I will be looking to change the date of my flight.

My question is - is it possible to do this just for me and not the other three?

I tried to do it on the Manage Booking section on the Aer Lingus website, but I'm not sure.

    Cheers.

Give the reservations center a call, I doubt it would be a problem, but you would be better off getting it straight from the horses mouth.

This should be doable but you'll probably need to do it by phone if it's not straightforward to do on the manage booking page. There will almost certainly be a fee (think it's 40euro), so make sure you're sure about the dates etc before you do it.

Cheers lads, I'm gonna give them a call tomorrow.

Quick question though - if I change the flights (and pay the 40.00 EUR fee) will I also have to pay the difference of the flights? (I know that sounds like a stupid question, but a confirmation would help).

I ask because it may be cheaper if I just book a new return flight.

Oh actually yes I think you have to pay the fee AND the difference in cost between the old and new booking. Obviously check with them when you're talking to them, but it's something to bare in mind when you're looking up a new flight to book.
