    I'm doing some research and really struggling on this. Can anyone give me some help?

    The following is a calculation used in cyclic voltammetry used to calculate diffusion coefficient

    D= slope/268700 x n3/2 x A x C

    i just need to know what are the correct units that go after the numbers 268700 ???

    n= number electrons transferred
    A= area of electrode
    c= concentration

    According to here: http://www.chembio.niu.edu/electrochem/lab11.htm that number seems to be dimensionless.

    I'm not familiar with the process or the equation, but it has all the hallmarks of a constant of proportionality.

    There are no units. Area has dimension of [length]^2 and concentration has dimension of [l]^(-2). The diffusion coefficient D should be dimensionless, therefore so it (slope/268700). With slope also being dimensionless, that means 268700 has no dimension either. It's just a number
