Getting Epson Printer Serviced

Long story short the Epson laser printer at work hasn't been 100% for the past month or so (various problems like pages coming out dirty, text faded in places, colors not looking right etc).

Epson are looking for €320 to service it which i think is a bit steep so does anyone know of someone independent (preferably in cork) that could give the printer a bit of a service?

    Thanks

Printer Economy 101: Printers are cheap.

We simply don't spend enough money on buying printers to justify repairing them.... what kind of printer is this? If it's any bog standard printer a year or two old or older, you're better of junking it, it would be cheaper to buy new.

If it was a cheap inkjet I wouldn't think twice about replace over repair, however When it's over €700 worth of printer it doesn't make any sense to simply throw it out because it's acting up a bit.

I'm by no means a laser printer expert but I think the sympthoms you describe are similar to a drum needing to be replaced?
