iOS5 Reception Woes

I've been hearing loads about battery issues on iOS5 but anyone else been having reception issues?

Never had issues with reception - and this morning, my phone was at 'No Service' until I got a couple of messages on Gmail (etc) asking if my phone was off.

Switched off and full service again!

    Is it just me?

Might be rolling back to 4.3.4 tonight methinks.

On a 3GS ios5, and having the EXACT same problems. I will just get random dropped calls, the reception will go up and down...the only way I've found that a signal can be kept is with the 3G turned on.....the data doesn't seem to work when just left on 2G (that's "E" isn't it?)...

    Dodge - O2.

    Been intermittent since upgrade.

No service on my phone for several hours on Monday evening. At one point it was showing full signal but I couldn't make calls or send texts. My mother's iPhone was the same. Both came back at the same time, so I assumed it was an O2 problem. No issues since.

Don't think it's a network issue since it's been pretty regular since I upgraded.

Will rollback to 4.3.4 this evening and see if it improves - I somewhat regret upgrading and losing my jailbreak so no harm!

If it's still the same on 4.3.4, at least I can rule out is being iOS5.

I'm on 3gs and ios5 and have seen this issue maybe 3-4 times.
But then I also changed to the Three provider around the time I updated to 5 so could be a Three issue.

    No reception issues for me,iphone 4 - ios5 - three network.
Infact in places where i am in work right now barely had GPRS connection for the last year now has a steady 1 bar of 3G,locked on too,not jumping back & forth between GPRS & 3G.

On another note though my home button has become unresponsive since ios5,ive googled, seems it could be software (ios5 related)
    Anyone else?

see my previous post on this. drop in service since ios5 for me on both o2 and three. i have an iphone 4. using an apple iphone 4 bumper helps things. ring apple and tell them - they claim not to get that many calls regarding bad reception. never got no service until I did the upgrade

I'm on iPhone 4 and iOS 5 and I've been having lots of 'No Service' indicators on the phone.
    I'm with O2 btw.
It seems to me to be O2's fault as I had brutal reception last Halloween weekend,
then during the week the phone seemed to be back to normal,
now this weekend it's at it again!

I can get it going again by turning off the iPhone and turning it back on again,
but it doesn't last long before I get a 'No Service' warning again.

I'm pretty mad about it now,
can anyone confirm it's O2's fault or the iPhone itself?

(btw, I tried all the tricks mentioned on the O2 site, sim lock off, restore phone etc...)
