Need help choosing a car... the missus wants to get a colt, and preferably a red one...cheap on fuel etc...

Ive narrowed it down to a few... two 2006 ones...

    One with low mileage (24k) €4100 http://cars.donedeal.ie/for-sale/cars/2683147

    One with high mileage (135k) €3250 http://cars.donedeal.ie/for-sale/cars/2679074

I think the 3 door looks better though but dunno if the low mileage justifies the extra 800 quid??

What do yas reckon,, 135k sounds like a lot can these colts last much longer than that??

Personally I'd try to bargain the low miler down. Do you know what work has been done on both. Especially the 135k one. Shocks, belt, brakes, discs etc.

it always depends on car's condition but I think small cars are not so resistant to high mileage like upper class cars. On the paper it doesn't make sense buy 135 k one unless you buy it for 2500 Euro.

Around 70k+ most small cars start needing bits and pieces done. Sometimes expensive. At 135k its done this twice. You'd need to know what work has been done. But I'd be goingj for the low miler and checking its not clocked.
