boxnation on upc anytime soon?

    Any news on this lads?

    I hate to admit it but boxnation really does have some fantastic fights in the works.

    Saturday alone is a real testosterone fest, you have the katsidis vs Burns fights in wembley then over to Canada later on for Bite vs Johnson,
    I actually wish I had Sky digital now

    feel ur pain! has me driven demented - even better when you could choose pay-per-view! No channel 5 either to pick up Tyson Fursy's fights! poor show altogether UPC!

    It's really annoying isn't it, luckily enough my brother has sky, so it'll be down to his for the groves fight and the burns one

    Well lads, I'm in the same boat but for the moment you can go to the boxnation.tv website and click "watch online" in the right hand corner of the screen and you can watch the fights live

    It's going to be subscription only soon, looking like £10 (or probably €20 to us) a month according to Richard Keys just now.

    AFAIK it will be Stg £10 to us aswell €11.61 at todays exchange rate

    I was joking. If Sky are involved in any way they'd try to rip us off!

    Liking the live fights but the commentary is dire, EnnnZO Mackaraneellii... incredibly biased commentators in the burns fight. And the score cards...WTF!

    agreed with the last post - also R. Keys doesn't look even half interested in boxing judging by the other night. Steve Bunce bit hard too take for that amount of time!

    Anybody else think burns groin protector was up near his arm pits..katsidis was basicall punching the protector but wasnt being called low by the ref...also burns wasnt once told to break when he was holding on.

    i have to say i enjoy Enzos' commentary, i think they've found a real gem there.

    and buncey is plain mad, i absolutely love him.

    saying that though, i just cant see the station lasting. Boxing is too "specilised" now to actually get enough subscribers to sign up.

    as i say, if Setanta couldnt do it, and that was with premiership football, then boxnation wont do it with just boxing alone.

    sure being honest here, besides boxing fans, who actually knows Manny Pacquaio?

    i bet you most of our parents never heard of him, but contrast that to say Chris Eubank, Frank Bruno, or Naseem Hamed, boxing is not a "for the masses sport" anymore
