Just been served with papers by my husband for a judicial separation. Can anyone give me an idea what the costs in defending it are? What are these costs based on and what do they include? Any help much appreciated I don't know what to do!!!!!

Have you an income or savings ? If not , you may qualify for legal aid , unfortunately asking how much a judicial separation costs is akin to asking how long is a piece of string , there are so many variables like children , properties , debts , etc that can all conspire to make it a difficult and expensive process.
Have you and your ex attended mediation ? It is a very cheap ( free ) way to resolve a lot of issues without recourse to law.
