4S or Not???

Heys Guys, I ordered the iPhone 4S 16GB Monday and i was delighted i finally got to order it! Mate just called me and told me he got his and that its VERY dissapointing which is a bummer. Seemingly Siri, the 8MP cam and a dual core processor is all thats different and siri is kinda limited to what it understands and can do??. I really just bought it because of Siri and how cool it looks from YouTube videos etc... Seemingly Siri will be available on the iPhone 4 soon too... Should i Cancel the order as i still have time...

Any suggestions?

If you already have an iPhone 4 then personally, I wouldn't bother upgrading. Hold off for the next iteration

Thing is i did have an iPhone 4 but sold it so i could buy the 4S... Kinda silly thing to do.. ah well :rolleyes: I just hope the 4S impresses me!!:o

The 4 vs the 4s, in my eyes, the 4s is obviously a far superior device, lightning quick, the camera is fantastic.

Even the loud speaker is louder!

iPhone 5 is supposed to be a major redesign, if you already have the iPhone 4 I'd hold off till then, that's what I'm doing anyway, hoping they go back to the old release date and not October 2012

I like it, but it has a few bad spots. The signal is feckin sh!t. The battery is woefull, and the enable 3G switch is gone. Which for me is a big thing, when im at home and 3G is on, in most of my house i have no signal, and that was on the IP4, so you can imagine now, cell data is always off at home which p!ss's me right off.

Hope the new update fix's these issues.

Personally I think the 4s is worth the upgrade alone due to the fact it has much better reception and doesn't suffer the constant dropped calls problem. I don't use Siri though as it doesn't understand bogger

I got a 4s this morning. I finding it very impressive. Before that i had a htc desire. Everything is a lot quicker, The os is a lot more simpler. I miss some of the freedom to change things that comes with android. There 3 areas that disappoint me with the 4s. The battery is a lot worse than my desire. ( but i hear their working on it.). The reception is terrible. For example i work in a basement office. With 4s no reception. With desire i had one or 2 bars and edge internet. When im at full bars 3g and wifi is very fast way faster than desire. If im on a bus or for example in the middle of a building speed drops a lot.

If i had have had an iphone 4 i would defo not upgrade.

Camera is a lot better and the speed boots gives a nice fluid feeling to using the phone but you would be hard pushed to say its any great advancement over a 4.

Autum is the old apple realease date. iPhone was out of sync, 4S brought it inline.

If you don't need a new phone now thats fine, but waiting for the 5 is a stupid reason to hold back if you need one

I only got mine today so I haven't had much of a chance to use it yet. Especially as my number hasn't been ported yet. I switched from a 3GS, so the performance is noticeably better - especially as iOS 5 made my 3GS very laggy.

Siri has been a bit hit and miss so far, but that's to be expected.
