    hi,

need to fence off an area with rocks underneath.

need posts that will sit on ground and hold an elecrtic wire. (something similar to timber post in a car tyre and the hollow area filled with concrete)

need them saturday so dont have time do mixing, waiting to set etc.

anybody know of any off the shelf posts that would suit..

If you don't mind a bodge here's what we did..

    Rim from car, with/without tyre..
    White plastic posts...

Bend tip of post at 90degrees in a vice..
Weld them onto the rim, carefully not to melt plastic...

Few minutes makes them up and as long as your not straining too hard they work fine.. I suppose you could add concrete after or a few rocks would do in a hurry...

We use them round the concrete yard and they work a treat.... Can be moved easily as not too heavy..

We use bits of 9" * 3" planks about 12" to 18" long with a hole drilled in them to take the fence stake, for extra security put a rock on each end of the plank

Similar used here. A round of firewood with a neat hole for the end of the fence post.
