What type of flatmates/housemates do you prefer.

When I first moved into a flat for college, I made it my business to get to know the occupants. Since it was a student flat, we were all students and got to know our neighbours together. We're still in contact and will meet up the odd time.
Unfortunately, getting to be best friends with the person you live with may cause drama, and awkwardness all round

Now I'm living in a house share and I couldn't be arsed with any of them, and vice versa. It's owner occupied, so having the craic is off limits. One of them I only seen twice in the 3 months of being here (not sleeping in other people's places and getting laid, just a hermit). But I'm more motivated to go get out more and when I want my privacy, I have it.

I prefer to be a bit more friendly with my flatmates. And at the moment, I'd prefer the former.

I prefer the quiet type, keep to themselves. As long as my body isn't counted among their victims I'm happy.

I prefer people who clean up, are easy going and aren't really annoying. I like to keep to myself so having them hogging the sitting room 24/7 is not on

that'd be the main thing for me, it helps if they're sound and are up for a bit of banter

No but when your other housemates spend their whole day in there you often want some time to chill out and relax on your own. I even bought the tv but rarely get to use it..

Didn't have a contract. No, I'll be honest, it ended disasterously. Definitely a bad idea. I'm with you on that one.

I dont mind spending some time with my housemates but I like to have the living room/tv to myself in the evening so I would like if my housemates spent more time in their rooms or at friends houses tbh.

Prefer living with friends or living on my own. Its cool to have someone to have the craic with after a days work but its also nice to not have to talk to anyone.
