personalised necklaces (think sex and the city)

Hi all, has anyone ever ordered personalised jewelery online? My friend in the US wanted a "carrie style necklace" with her name on it so i was thinking of getting it for her for Christmas. I googled and found a few sites, one was mynamenecklace.ie anyone ever shopped here and are they good quality pieces? They said the offer free worldwide delivery

You could try etsy.com or I have seen them on ebay. Argos I think used to do them but not sure.

I really wouldn't recommend Argos for this. I purchased one of these from Argos and it was terrible quality. It was smaller than expected, the chain was flimsy and it tarnished almost immediately.

Thanks Really had hoped that someone had ordered this online tho as if i do order it i will have it shipped directly so wont get to check what the quality etc is like before hard

I bought a silver necklace from them about 6 years ago, still in great nick and as far as I can remember delivery was quick also

There's a fella on O'Connell bridge in Dublin (I also saw him on Henry St) who will bend one out of metal into your name, and I'll admit they look lovely I dunno bout the quality, maybe one day I'll get one to see!
