    Here there si no terrestrial signal already, what you think is better than? Sattelite or cable?

    Brataslava they get Slovak, Austrian, Czech and Hungarian Terrestrial TV. Big mast and distribution per apartment.
    EVERYWHERE in in Europe has terrestrial TV, but some places are Digital only.

    I'm guessing you mean that by turned off you mean the analogue signal? That's been off a couple of months now. Digital is OK, but I've tried a couple different places here and reception can be a bit dodgy (not sure if they just have a weak transmitter or what). But honestly cable TV is so cheap just get that. We pay a tenner a month for 70 odd channels, a handful of those are HD too.

    Presume the OP is living in Ireland and wants Slovakian TV ?

    Satellite is probably their only bet. There used to be some Slovak channels on 28 East (not on $ky boxes due to oddball symbol rates) not sure if this is still the case.

    Polish Channels are mainly on 13 East (Hotbird) with a handful (mostly duplicates) on 19 East. I mention this because Im told that a lot of Slovaks and Polish people understand each others languages pretty well.
