Hope posting in the right forum, but here goes. On tuesday evening my wife parked her almost new clio on dublin's NCRd. Close to mountjoy garda stn. Asshe and her friend got out of the car a guy approaches "I need ajump start" he says "my car wont start and i have jump leads" Wife ever helpful agrees. He gets her to pull her car up close to his. She did,nt know what type of car it was except that it looked a bit battered. the guy opens his bonnet attaches the leads and asks her to open her bonnet. Now its anearly new car and she can't find the bonnet release lever. The guy comes over but he can't find it either. I'll ring my husband says the wife taking her mobile from her pocket. " Ah forget it" he says "I only live locally". He closes the bonnet, jumps into the car which starts immediately and drives off.
Now does anyone apart from me smell a rat here? Many thanks for all opinions.

Well yeah because he said his car wouldn't start and left when she mentioned you. Count herself lucky and don't assist blokes again.
