These are 3 iconic events in Ireland and are probably the biggest bike, runs & swims in the country (actually Women's Mini Marathon has 40,000 entrants). Has anyone done all 3 in the same year? Did the Wicklow 200 & DCM myself.

It would be a good competition to do all 3 and see who has the lowest overall time.

Sounds like a great idea for a challenge, although after hearing the number of people who were seriously sick this year after a certain Triathlon that had a liffey swim, i'm pretty hesitant about the risk posed by swimming in that particular river (Missing days off work due to getting ill or worse - is a big risk for a sport..) I like the idea of the 3 though..

I suspect you're talking about the same triathlon that had me sick for about 6 weeks in 2007. I won't be in any hurry to dip in that river again.

Did all three in 08, the Liffey swim is great craic. I think you'd need a points system rather than an overall time though as the swim can be anything as short as 20 mins.
