Hey, I have friend who will teach me some driving and we are looking for some free/safe area where there would be no cars around, buildings or so. I suppose Ireland doesn't really have any abandoned airports outside dublin? Any suggestions where to go?

A carpark in an industrial estate on a sunday morning would be my suggestion.

A newly built housing estate outside Dublin, won't be a sinner about.

Newly built housing estates aren't the best for teaching learners in tbh. They are typically full of cul de sacs etc, no interconnecting roads.

The best places are, as mentioned, industrial estates or older housing estates which are built on a grid format.
