Xbox Scam i need help

Hey guys a few weeks ago i recived an email saying somebody tried to access my account and i clicked it and entered my info i soon found out it was a scam but lucky for me i put in the wrong password now it looks like somebody is trying to login into my account but with the wrong password and when i try go to reset password i seen my email but there is another one like this co*****@gmail.com i know its not mine and im not sure if i should resend a password reset because they might change my password and have access to my account can somebody help me?

Anybody have their Number i am really afraid it will get hacked as my parents credit card stuff is on the profile and i really just want to get that off the profile first

We can't deal with this stuff on chat I'm afraid, account stuff has to be done over the phone, so that's your best bet. Either that or use a different method to reset your password, like your security question or the customer support option. It brings you to Windows Live customer support as opposed to Xbox Support.

Do so from an internet cafe, as otherwise your IP will be recorded.

What difference does it make if they have your IP Address?

I think the suggestion is that if you were to pay back the hacker in kind, by doing/sending things to their inbox then in order to ensure it isnt traced back to you then use someone neutral like a cafe. depends on the severity of the payback really...personally id just learn from it and move on.

Ran into a problem they wont Get rid of my Credit card stuff because i forgot the password but i cant change it because he will get into my account WHAT CAN I DO?

YES!!!! I went on my old computer and it already had me signed in because i saved my password and i changed my password to a 50 digit password and i am gonna post the hackers email on 4chan Thatl teach that Bas%a^d

good news...take the lesson from it...do not enter any personal details on any website/email link that you are not 100% sure of its authenticity.
