iPhone4 trade in options ?

sorry if this has been covered elsewhere - couldn't find on a search, but if so I'd be grateful if you could point me to a thread

I have an 8 month old iPhone 4 on contract with o2 & have a gold upgrade - I'm 3 months into a new contract.

o2 are telling me I can get the 4S 16Gb for €149, but I don't really need my old iPhone

I'm happy with o2, but just wondering if ther are any trade in options or is it a case on selling on ebay ?

Carphone Warehouse offered me €250 for my iPhone4 as a trade-in. Have a look on adverts.ie, you'll get an idea of demand and prices there. It's worth more than 250 anyway, I'd say they're worth 350-ish. But if you don't want the hassle of selling it, the €250 from CPW is an easy option.

As far as I know, the Carphone Warehouse is only giving €170 now for an iPhone 4 16GB.

Tbh Im looking for an iPhone4 again ....Just after losing my own after a "night-out" which is a bit of a blur and of course I didnt bother to insure it :P and I could garuntee if you advertised it on DD or ...any other advertising websites that you could easily pick up 300quid or get some very impressive swaps for it

Looking on ebay, iphone4 seems to sell for 350-420. Irish listing in the last few weeks are mostly around €400, UK listings have sold for less.

A rep in a Meteor shop told me they give €150 for 3gs so I'd imagine o2 would have some sort of trade in option

can you only use an O2 upgrade in an O2 shop or do carphone warehouse accept it ?

My ideal would be to use my upgrade & trade in my old phone at the same time

Get O2 to unlock it and put it up for sale online you should get a decent price for it.

OP can keep there current plan if upgrading with O2 with the iPhone 4s.
