    Hello.

So I was talking to a friend who has a 'Samsung Galaxy I' for the past year and he was asking me why I dont have 'Whatsapp' on/running all the time on my 'Samsung Galaxy Ace', I just never thought of it. He said to me that if I have spent so much money on the phone I should look into getting the most out of it instead of it just sitting in my pocket, I see his point totally!

So my question here is, what would you guys recommend to me that I can do with the 'Samsung Galaxy Ace' that I dont need to Download and also what do you recommend that I do need to download from the market place too? I know the 'Ace' is a budget phone (still €250, which is a lot of money) but there must be loads that I can do that I would even think of untill someones says it.

I do have FB, Gmail, Advanced Task Killer, a few games, that nice 3D Flip Clock, retro camera (which is painfully slow to use) but I do fine the Ace is very limited in what it can do, like one thing, fonts, I only have one font on the phone, stupid things like that.

Love my phone though, just need some recommendations really. Thanks.

    Sorry for rattleing on!

    Thanks for the reply!

Why get rid of Task killer? Anything better and straight forward to use like task killer that doesnt eat the battery in the background?
Everyone I know is on Whatsapp, but no harm having Viber too? :)
Not going to Root the phone tbh.
Whats cabbage? Picsay, will look into this, thanks!!!!!!!

If you're into retro gaming there's a few emulators out there too.
Gensoid and Snesoid being two of the best imo. (Don't ask here where to get roms!) Handy for that quick game of sonic on the bus.

What about an ereader ? I have amazon kindle and Aldiko. Adobe reader aswell for them .pdf's.

I use subsonic to stream music from my home pc to my phone. Also use phoenmypc to control my pc from my phone.

I do all this on my galaxy S but should be able to do it on the Ace. I do them on my LG GT540 and Advent Vega aswell.
That's all off the top of my head.

Cabbage is a great app. Allows you send your webtexts from your phone.

Just got my first smart phone (Desire S), and the app that amazed myself, and my friends without fail is Google Goggles. It's not very useful in the grand scheme of things, but from a tech viewpoint, it blew me away (but maybe I've just lead a sheltered life!).

When I used it first I thought it was the best thing ever. Taking pics of everything.
