I recently won a club powerplay golf comp with only 27 pts (woohoo) can my handicap get cut for this 9 hole comp? and how can the adjustment be calculated? .....second place was on 25 pts.

The short answer is yes - but it's left to the clubs to implement the official handicap rules as laid down by The Council of National Golf Unions (CONGU).

CONGU Rules covering handicap adjustments for 9 hole competitions are available on: http://www.congu.com/faqs/old_site/9%20Hole%20Scores.pdf.

You should talk to your club handicap secretary about this, as there are other issues (e.g. re. measured course, winter rules, etc.).
