UPC Series Link

Just switched to UPC from Sky the other day and set all my series links on the upc box that I had previously set on my sky box. However now I notice it's recording all occurrences of that show, on all days, including repeats. Is this happening to anyone else? E.g. set a series link on the new series of south park 2 days ago, and now there is about 5 south park repeats recorded.

With Sky, if you series link a season, it only records new episodes for that season.

no sorry not that i know of.

but you could setup up a time recording so it will only record at the time you want but if the time of the program changes youll miss it

Find series link very hit and miss.
Sometimes it will just stop half way through a season of something.

Hi Damo2k. When you write "That's pretty gay" I take it you mean "that's pretty bad". Why do you equate gay with bad?

Mine constantly re-records episodes as well (more than 50% of shows).

You lads must be on cable. I'm on mmds and the box only records new episodes. And we have also found that if the box is swtiched off when a recording is due, it will record the next showing, regardless if its a repeat or not. Very handy.
