    Hi,

I am thinking of setting up a network of people in the fingal area who have start up businesses (under 3 years) to get together 2/3 times per month, to discuss business, to refer business, to help each other out with business related matters etc

If there is anyone in the fingal area willing to get on board with this we can sit down and work out a plan for how it will work

I understand that there are BNI's etc but this will cost nothing.

Looking forward to hearing from you

    Moggie

    Here is my proposed Network:

Perfect for start up businesses up and running and less than 3 years old.
Main objective is to get business from this
    Minimal cost if any
    Meet up twice per month
    Evening time meeting e.g.6.30pm
    Referral type network
Every member gets a 5 minute presentation on their business
One to one meetings afterwards can be arranged between members

Discussions on any aspect of business, recommendations.

Every couple of months bring in a guest speaker

We need 10 people to start this network, already have 3/4 that are interested in this.

This network is up for discussion, changes can be made to improve it etc..

Look forward to hearing from you all.

    Regards,

    Moggie

I'm not from Dublin but when reading I couldn't help but think what a mistake it would be to exclude well established businesses from the group.

Apart from the large client base an established business can bring with ready referrals, the experience and business acumen an established entrepreneur can bring is vital.

In any case best of luck with it.

It is a fair point but for the time being i'm going to try and build this network up with people who are pretty much at the same business level.
