Can anyone recommend a heating controls solution for a new house?

I am looking for networkable controls and the system I have looked at so far is by JG Speedfit which allows many possibilties in terms of remote monitoring, software upgrades and the likes.

There are probably many alternatives out there. Has anyone prior experience of the JG Speedfit or other controls systems for dwellings? :)

I've mentioned this product so many times you would think I was pimping it :D

Look up heatmiser .co.uk for network central heating controls.

edit - just looked up the speedfit product and it is the heatmiser stuff rebadged!

Yes, is see that. Would it be the case that this particular control system would be compatible with another manufacturer's UFH actuators?

Yes. The control box will have relays rated at 230v so in my case I was running ordinary zone valves as I had rads.

Although they do a number of control centres (wiring centres) and there may be 12v ones.
