Hey, leaving for Africa on Friday and just wondering can you bring Insect Repellent in your carry-on through Dublin Airport?

The one I have is an 50ml spray
(brand: lifestyle expeditions 50+ if it's of any relevance ;))

EDIT: It does also say Harmful and Extremely Flammable on the back of the bottle... :S

    Cheers Thanks.

as long as it goes in the hold and not on board the plane (where the passengers go)

you could always buy local stuff (which will probably work better than stuff here - which may not be designed with african insects in mind)

That is no different to any deoderant or other aerosol device. As long as it's under 100ml, it can be bought as carry-on luggage.

Doesn't seem to be on the list of prohibited cabin baggage items, so should just fall under the regular liquid restrictions.

I do it all the time. Shouldn't be a problem.
