I tried scanning this in on my Ariva 120 Combo, but did not have any joy.

Anyone know how do I scan for DVB-S2 channels on the Ariva?

    Thanks,
    MJ

It may be flagged as encrypted (even though it's not), so you may have to scan for encrypted channels as well as free to air ones.

Yeah, I scanned for encrypted and go SBO HD1, SBO HD2, and 2 No. Sky Sports HD3. No sign of E4...

    ***update***

OK, problem solved. There was a slightly different channel setting on Eurobird 1 of 12324 V 29497 and it found E4 HD.

    Thanks.

Same on Foxsat. You need to scan ALL channels on transponder rather than just FTA as its flagged as encrypted.

Watching E4HD and ROSA( PBS UK) and both showing no signal just a few minutes ago on foxsat.

Although King of Sat claims since yesterday E4 is scambled now: Astra 2B, 28.2°E
    (08h51) Sky Digital: E4 HD (United Kingdom) is now FTA (12324.00MHz, pol.V SR:29500 FEC:3/4 SID:3843 PID:515[MPEG-4] /643 English,663 English).
    (19h20) Sky Digital: E4 HD left 12324.00MHz, pol.V (DVB-S2 SID:3843 PID:515[MPEG-4] /643 English,663 English)

This is not the case: Since yesterday 20 h. E4 HD is free to air on this new transponder on the new Astra 1N.

Strange, I was watching E4HD on Tuesday FTA but it went scrambled yesterday and still is on my setup using the above perameters. It has been flagged as scrambled all along.

Yesterday it went scrambled two times. Now it is FTA, but maybe you need to scan ALL channels again on transponder rather than just FTA as its flagged as encrypted.

I was able to see it even though it was flagged scrambled. A full rescan of that TP doesn't cure it. However I left the box on that channel for a while and found a still image just now which woud imply it came clear for a while. Presumably they are still playing with settings.
