    Hey There,

I'm hoping someone can provide some info.

We are getting a stove into our kitchen (Stanley Reginald). This is going to be approx 1/4 recessed and approx 3/4 exposed. We have the option of putting some Scammel board around the stove, but is going to be very awkward and not the greatest finish. Would there be much heat lost from recessing a stove in this much? Also there is a largish gap all around the stove the whole way around.

Any info would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    SD
