    Shaun edwards has left wasps but what i'm wondering is does this now open up the door for him to take over from Martin Johnson?

    With options open to him from both codes I doubt he is going to rush into any decision. However I do thinking the timing is slightly off given where we are in the season

    I doubt he will go back to League to be honest - there just isnt the money or lure for him there. I think its pretty easy for the RFU to turn to Johnson and say bring Edwards in - he is popular and is a very good PR excercise post World cup for them.

    He would also love to be involved in another Lions tour and that would all but secure that.
