    Anyone seen this?? Just watched it on dvd last night..first half brillant, second half it unravels as if the director doesn't know what direction to take it and the ending is completely unsatisfying.

    > had to watch it with the subtitles on, cause of the heavy Glaswegian accents

    Really enjoyed it, great performance from the lead

    It's not perfect by any means but definitely worth a watch for the performances alone

    Great little movie alright. Its a while since i've seen it, but it is fairly stirring alright. There is a fair bit of violence in it, its really gritty and as mentioned above it does tend to taper off at the end.

    Typical Scottish fair, it seems the country is nothing but drunkards and wife beating and gang warfare and hatred and spite and malice, nothing nice ever happens in scotland, at least going by the films anyway

    Good and thought provoking film but pretty rough going alright. I was a bit jaded that night after seeing it in the cinema!

    I remember when i saw the trailer and i was genuinely excited about it . got it out on dvd and was very disappointed.....hard work to watch and goes no where in the end
