Tesco credit card-Check balance online?

    Tempted to switch credit card to tesco, but is it possible to check the balance online?

    no, not yet for some reason, but in the UK they can

    At the moment in Ireland there is a freephone number 1800555743 for checking balances and transations, but as its partially manual, its only available M-F daytime and saturday mornings!

    Strange! Surely it'd be cheaper to run an online facility as opposed to having a call centre.Still, at least I could check my balance regularly.
    Are the club card deals any good? Haven't got a chance to browse their site yet
