    The Israelis are speeding up the settlement process as a punishment for the Palestinians and as a warning to nations who support the Palestinians application for more UN bodies.

    They're unbelievable. Words cannot express how mindless this manoeuvre this is. They also say that the settlements are being built on lands that will be claimed by them no matter what outcome there is in the future of the negotiations. i.e. The land they're building on will never belong to the Palestinians - even though it is in pre 1967 territory.

    Mind = boggles.
