    Hi
Does anyone have a flashing detail for a stone chimney that they could post?

Thanks. Had a look at several websites but none are conclusive on the following point: where the stepped vertical flashing overhangs the flaahing "pan" (which runs along the slope of the roof), how is this sealed (or secured) on a stone chimney to prevent water ingress or the rain blowing in? Particularly given that the natural stone is not as uniform as say red drick for example.

Surely the stone mason or roofed could mark this out very simply with their eyes closed!
