driving range near ballinasloe

    Anybody know of a driving range near ballinasloe

    As a resident of B'sloe myself I have used Athlone (which is about 5km up the Roscommon Rd), Loughrea and Birr, do not know of any closer which is a pain.

    There used to be a driving range on the old Ballinasloe - Athlone road about 3 -4 km out past the Dubarry factory on the left as to go towards Athlone. It's probably 10 years since I was there last so no idea if it's still in existence.

    Long gone as far as i know. only one is athlone golf academy or clara

    Yea it is a long time gone.

    As far as I know the nearest one would be in Kiltoom, Co. Roscommon as mentioned above. However, I don't know what is available going in the other direction.

    there's one advertised when you are using the motorway - thinks its athenry though.

    You'll be gald to hear that there is one opening this weekend one mile outside Ballinasloe on the old Athlone road.
