Barcelona- Where to stay

    Traveling to Barcelona in 2 weeks, was there before and seen Las Ramblas found it a bit Meh.

    Can anyone recommend another area to stay in that would be good for a Stag?
    Reasonable Hotels or B&B recommendations would be good, we can still hop on the Metro for one night on the Ramblas.

    I have done a search but most of the stuff is focused on the Ramblas here on boards.

    Any guidance would be gratefully accepted.

    Hotel Via Augusta could be a nice option. It is in the upper part of the city at the Collserola hills. You can actually go up the hill by a cable car for a beautiful view on the city. It is a pleasant area with many restaurants, bars, shops etc and a lively atmosphere. The hotel is quite nice too.

    Thanks for the name of that Hotel. Just back from Barcelona and the location was great with nice helpful staff.

    Only €75 a night including Breakfast at the heart of the Gracia area and about 20 mins from all the sites.
