With all these Top Tier guys like CroCop, BJ, Randy, Hughes, Chuck retiring, and a few others like Wandy, Coleman, Franklin, Shogun (?) on the wane, would any of you be interested in seeing a sort of Legends section in MMA, where they could face each other?

Sure if Zuffa did it the PPV's would be huge, imagine a CroCop v Chuck Fight, or a tourney even.

These guys would know there's no shot at one of the regular belts but there's quite a few of these fighters i mentioned that i would LOVE to see square up against each other.

    What ya reckon?

I've seen you mentuon this in other threads. i think it's an awesome idea!

I know after the whole Uno v Penn thing, UFC don't do tournies. But I really think this could be different as, really, there wouldn't really be anything at stake apart from seeing the old school lads battle it out.

Good idea alright. Would sell PPVs definitely!

Yeah I'd love to see something like this!
But I'd rather see a tourney type set-up rather than a few once-off exhibition bouts.
It would make serious PPV money for the UFC, and if they had a fan expo beforehand with all the legends there, that would make them a fortune too. I really hope they do this somewhere down the line.

The UFC would never do this, its too gimmickey for them, one of the other promotions (pro elite?) might try something like that but they probably wouldnt get any of the great fighters. Alot of the fighters are just too war torn to fight anymore, as much as i love Chuck Liddell he shouldnt fight anymore, Sakuraba is a shadow of his former self also he should retire.

It might be an awesome way to keep Strikeforce going!
