Dell Inspiron n5010 won't turn on

    Hello all,

The girlfriend's auld fella let the battery run out on her Inspiron n5010 and since then it won't turn on. Tried two different chargers with it, inspected all the connections, everything seems in order, I don't think he dropped it on the qt. The charging light doesn't come on with the charger plugged in, the transformer doesn't heat up at all, nothing happens when the power button is pressed. The 1 year warranty expired in September I think, she was running windows 7 on it, outside of that I don't know much more about it. Aside from getting it back working, she has a lot of data she hasn't backed up on it that she needs for a conference in less than a fortnight so even some way of recovering the data for now would suffice.

    Thanks in advance
