Are Males and Females actually equal in this day and age or is there still an expectation of what role they shoud play.

Personally I think of course we should all be. I'm not sure that's the case though. We had a conversation in work about this last week. This example was given:-two 30 year olds go for a job, one male and one female, both with the exact same qualifications and experiences. The general concensus was that the male is more likely to get the job because the company think the woman is more likely to have a baby.

It depends who you ask though.. I myself was raised in the traditional mother at home father working setup, but I would never expect a women to give up a career to iron my shirts.. There are a lot of traditionalists out there though, women and men.
