recovering data

    Hi guys,

I recently formatted a hard drive and and reinstalled Windows XP for local business. I made backups of everything I was asked to, but then afterwards they released that SortMyBooks wasn't on the list. So now I'm trying to get it back for them. I've contacted the company who supplies sortmybooks and they have said a .qvp file is what I would be looking for.

I use Power Data Recovery myself to recover lost files but so far I've not been able to find anything, and when I do a deep scan .qvp isn't listed in the files types to search for. Does anyone know of a way I might be able to retrieve these?

    Thanks
