Boot liners

    Hi all,

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I asked this question a few months ago in Fashion & Appearance and didn't get an answer, I thought maybe folks here might have a better idea.

I am looking for warm liners for a pair of doc marten boots for the winter. Ideally I'd be getting myself a pair of snowboots, but I have very little money, and I Have a pair of 14 hole docs that are waterproof but since it's just bare leather, they're pretty cold unless I wear 2 or 3 pairs of socks, and tbh I'd rather just get a pair of liners.

I've tried most of the online stores in Dublin that I thought might carry something I could use (snow & rock, greatoutdoors, etc) but it's all skiboot liners or just insoles, and Ideally I'd like something that's boot shaped, like this:

Most sites I've seen that sell them won't ship to Ireland.

    Thanks for any replies

    :)

this isn't going to be a very helpful post and I apologize for that but I'm curious.
Have you actually got room in the boots for a liner like that?

Would a few pairs of good socks not be a better solution? Like Ski socks or hiking socks?

Yeah, I know, but even with 2 thick pairs of socks last year I had room to maneuver- and the socks kept slipping down and giving me blisters- I bought the boots a bit too big if I'm honest!

right well in that case, If the boots are too big.
Instead of buying a pair of liners, why not spend €20 on a pair of winter boots from Aldi or Lidl whenever they're back?

I got a pair last year which I found quite comfortable and warm.

I know these are childrens but this is the type of thing I'm thinking of.

You can get heated foot beds that are connected to a battery pack they are just like insoles but warm.

Thanks for the advice all, I actually was in TK Maxx today and got a really nice pair of boots for €50- these ones:

    Karrimor Boots

And they seem super toasty and exactly what I wanted. Now, so long as it snows this winter I'll be happy! :p
