Did anyone get what they did not pay for?

I bought a deal for a superior car valet on one deal website price I think was 120 or 110 euros so i paid €39 for it.

i bookeed my car for it last Saturday to be honest it was just like wash and hoover.

I dont think they did anything to make say wow I got a good value out of it. inside was polished only on at front, my door was still as it went under my radio they did not touch my windows were not cleaned properly as could see that the cloths they used were over used.

To be honest I would have paid €20 for what they did and more.

I am thinking of calling them to complain because I was so happy when I bought it in September me as I have never done a valet so it was like heaven.

Now am completely not happy with the service I got, it is paining me so much. They thought hoover and washing the outside and using a scented spray will make me feel good. Things I also have and use in my car.

Never will I buy deals for this, I hope they did not pick on me as my car was 30 andother before me was done for hour and half which delayed them to start mine.
Do you think they just did not care? or what should I call them?

Good point u have mentioned they r not supposed to be told in advance.

Yes I think that is what happened because when u book it advises one to let them know u have the voucher. More than 400 people bought their vouchers I hope they will change because I wont go back even if it is free.

Just got one of these done in Cork on Saturday morning, I had given them the voucher code when I booked it on, Supreme Valet in WashWorld, Tramore Road. Wash, hoover, hand wax, windows and interior all cleaned and treated, great job I thought. €100, €40 on the group deal thing.

It always shocks me how expensive these are in Ireland. In London, I can get a very good clean inside and out for a tenner plus tip. Even if I want to go upmarket and have it done in Canary Wharf where no car cheaper than a Porsche would be permitted (joke), the most expensive platinum wash including autoglym etc is £40. These guys take your car from you in the car park and drop it back and will even leave the keys back to your office if you don't want to pick it up from them. THat's the full price, not some discounted rate. Why so expensive in Ireland? Is labour that much more expensive?

OP, if you think you can get an as new finish for 39E? it takes the guts of a day and some times more (depending on the absolute pigsty condition some folks rock up in) to properly valet a car... think about it.

As for the London stg10 valet? ... money laundering.

That's a wash and a hoover, they won't wax your car for that. €15 for that in WashWorld

For €40 I was happy out, wouldn't pay €100 but that's more a reflection on me than the service.

Cheers guys I rang the company which advertised their offer they said I should contact them for them to give me another booking so that they can do what they advertised.

I guess if they wont agree when I call them I will call back the company so they can know about them.

I bet i wont be the only one.
