    Hi guys,

Question for anyone with a Skycaddie. I'm thinking of investing but can't seem to get a definite answer on annual cost.
    Anyone help ?

    thanks

And would you recommend it in terms of reliability and accuracy ?
    Thanks

I have to say I love it and its not that expensive when you work it out !!

It can be a bit of a pain having to download the courses as you play them before hand but thats no big deal really, you have 10 courses you can store so its not lots of downloading. If the course has not been mapped you cant use it so it wont work for every course, not too many courses that dont use it though, or if course has changed any and has not been re-mapped its not accurate but to be fair thats not very often.

What I love with them is it gives you distances to say bunkers, lakes, front, middle and back of green etc so can really help with your club selection. You can also use it as a measure of your club distances which you cannot accurately get with a range finder !!

Well worth it in my opinion go for it

Why not use a golf buddy ?
Is there a difference in price v sky caddie ?
No annual sub. with golf buddy

I have a SG5 but if it were again, I would investigate/consider the Buddy and/or the rangefinder. I do like it and find the 10 courses adequate as I only occasionally play elsewhere (member of a club with two courses).

The rangefinder is a one off cost and you can use it anywhere. No more shelling out yoyos!

Strapped for cash and can get a Skycaddie 2nd hand for around 85 yo-yos.
Will cost me yearly which is a balls but guess have to weigh that against initial outlay
If I could get a good deal on a golfbuddy I'd take that
