Wealth per age demographics (>60's)

Hi all,

First time poster on this thread, however I do enjoy reading.

I am currently working on a college assignment and I would like to include some figures. I want to find statistics for wealth per age demographics, in particular those close to retirement (ie over 60s). I've seen some information on this but no firm figures. Ideally I want it for Ireland, and possibly some other European countries.

Does anyone have any idea where I might find such information. I've tried various searches in google but to no avail.

Have you tried the CSO? Google Scholar? What about where you've seen some of this information before, maybe that has references you could use
