First World War Exhibition (and Flower Festival) - Christ Church Bray.

    http://dublin.anglican.org/news/events/2011/10/Christ-Church-Bray-Remembrance-Flower-Festival.php

For the third year running an exhibition of First World War memorabilia is to be held in Christ Church Bray, running from Sunday 6th November - Sunday 13th of November. (Opening Hours 11.00am - 4.00pm Monday to Saturday & 1.00pm - 4.00 pm on Sundays), please check link above for more detail. This years exhibition will include a Flower Festival, which should keep the mssus happy, (if she's not into World War I memorabelia) :)

I have visited the event in previous years, and I found the exhibition to be very moving, somber, & thought provoking, I understand that this years exhibits will include a spectacular 'eight meter wide' World War I Mural hanging in the Church, so don't forget your camera!

I visited it a few years ago when a local woman displayed her grandfathers photograph collection (discovered after his death) and it was well worth the visit.

Well done Bray!! Good to see the lads and lassies being remembered. I hope there will be more and more of these growing in the country.
    Cheers.
    Tom.
