Can I walk into meteor or apple and buy an iPhone 4s in the morning?

You may be able to get one in a Meteor shop if you're willing to sign a bill-pay contract, assuming they have stock. Apparently bill-pay customers are getting priority across the board. Where do you mean by Apple? They don't have any shops in the Republic, i don't think you can buy sim-free iphones in any shop in this country.. There is an Apple store in Belfast where you probably get one, stock permitting..

Ah poop, I taught there was an apple store in Dublin. I don't wanna go on a bill especially for 24 months, do meteor do them on prepay? I might take a trip up to Belfast or try pick one up on adverts.

I tried to get an iPhone 4 in Compub during the summer but they don't do them. The networks won't give you one on prepay for now as billpay is their priority. If you want one SIM free you'll either need to go to Belfast or order online from Apple directly.

I maybe wrong but most meteor stores seems to be sold out. Your best bet is calling Apple store Belfast or order online.

Unfortunately its not an official apple store in arnotts, just a section of the store where they keep all the apple gear. So execpt going to belfast or ordering online there is no way to get a sim free iphone 4s

No you may be right but is a lot better the a load of devices stuck on a shelf as they previously and they actually have proper apple reps in the new area, so it's a step up.

Try the carphone warehouse,they have prepay for Meteor,3,O2.
Im on Vodafone:mad::mad::mad::mad: and was thinking about going to belfast but its a very long drive ,so i was wondering if i rang belfast would they send me one from there ?? rather than wait 2 weeks from the online store.

I ended up getting a brand new one on meteor from adverts.ie. Got a 32GB for €625

that was a great deal,im a bit afraid to buy 1 from adverts.ie,etc.Cause their is alot of very good looking fake one's out their,the mother came back from america last year with 1.i'll make my mind up soon tho.haven't had an iphone before so looking forward to getting it.

Its not an Apple Store, its simply an apple Section, similar to the Apple shelves in Harvey Norman, Peats etc etc

Theres nowhere in this country to pick up a sim free iPhone at present unless you order from www.apple.ie

Also the belfast store are selling out everytime they get a delivery, so best bet would be to reserve one on there and pick up.
