    Dunno if anyone saw this today. Stade Francais trailed Toulouse in the dying moments of today's game. Old Counters slots the DG only to realize that they were six points behind. Absolute shocker...

    It was funny alright. He pumped his fist in the air as he thought he scored to equaliser but soon realised he got the score wrong.

    Here's a similar effort from Prop Matt Dunning for NSW Waratahs v Chiefs in the Super 12's. NSW needed to win the game by two clear tries to make the play-offs. The score is 17 - 14 to NSW and they're playing with penalty advantage in the 67th minute. Dunning clips over a sweetly struck snap drop-goal, i.e. advantage over, 3 points.

    He took the shot to nothing assuming he would miss and the ref would return the advantage to his team allowing them to ping it into touch in the corner and look for the try.

    Instead, he nailed it.

    NSW won 25-14, scoring one more try after this drop goal, but missing out by one try on the semi-finals.
