Changed my car over online and..

    Had to change my vehicle for the weekend and the car I got had no current insurance on it so I did the temp cover thingy online and this is the response i got...

    ''We have received your email message with the subject:

    Temporary Change of Car

    We will respond to your message within 24hrs. Response times may be longer on the weekends and bank holidays.

    Thank you.

    AXA Insurance''


    Doesnt confirm that i'm covered on the new vehicle just says they got a message from me? I gave them a ring and they told me they wont do anything for me till tuesday. wouldnt even confirm it for me ???

    Well by the sound of it, unless you have open drive or similar on your policy, you're not covered on the temporary car.

    Personally I'd never leave anything important to an email in this country considering even getting the auto-reply you did is an achievement in itself.
