I read in The Guardian that the American PBS channel will begin on Sky next week. Now this will be a good channel worth seeing. PBS is the American public broadcasting service. I wonder if it will be on UPC, I know the answer, but no harm in hoping.

Might be a good idea to replace City channel with but it does not deserve the CH 107 spot, even in the US it has a low audience.
UPC would astonish me if they added this channel as they seem for now to have held their hands up in surrender to SKY and are concentrating on BB.

Hopefully when the fibre power is available to all they will take on Sky again with VOD etc,but that is a big 'when' (if ever)

USA Antiques Roadshow on it now. You wont be missing much i'd say. Nova looks like it could be good though.

It looks a very decent channel, with content missing from other networks they carry. Wonder if they tried and PBS blocked to UK only.

    Hi all

Over in the Television forum, I'm writing a piece about a cool tv show on PBS:

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055689569&page=7

PBS is available on Sky channel 166. Is it available on UPC or other platforms
in Ireland? I'd like to include full details in my summary.

    Thanks,

    Barney

Simple answer - No, just Sky

AFAIK Nova and Horizon BBC2 share programs, just different narrator.
