out of interest - why have you chosen this topic?

i would say be careful - be very careful and mindful of your subject if this is really the topic you want to go with. be clear with them where the photos will end up - be it an exhibition in your college, or online or where ever and stick to it.

there's a fine line between what you think will make edgy photojounalism and it coming across as exploitation of someone who's in a vunerable place in their life.

is this college in Kerry ?

the same college which recently had a number of students in here asking for help with ideas ?

the same college which gives/sells the students work to a company who sells the images as packages of photography files ?

the same college who tells their students that they need to get model release form for each of their images.

This is the link to the other thread.

Seems like a different college but may have the same fund raising idea.

Without any further input from the OP it's a bit early to jump to conclusions. There are any amount of courses for which doing a photo essay would be completely reasonable. The OP might be doing a photography course for example :)

the other OP's were doing a college course's too. (and would possibly fail if they did not give their images to the business to sell as stock)

I do think this might be a different college course - but just curious because this is becoming a common theme* - students looking for college course "assistance"

    * back in my day we did our own college work and relied on our own intellect (and that of classmates) to pass or fail the year - oh how times have changed !!
