What to wear with taupe dress?

    Bought this fab dress recently:

    However, I have no idea what way to accessorise it for an evening occasion. Would cream heels with cream accessories go well? I'd prefer to steer clear of black, because I wear way too much of it!

    Yeah, I think cream would be nice.

    I don't think you'd need any neck jewellery, very little if you are gonna wear some.

    maybe get some cream bangles or bracelets and mix in some brown ones too?? Just because of the belt? I think brown would look good with it too.

    It's a really pretty dress! :)

    What about some nude heels and then try and work a nice chocolaty brown into your accessories? :)

    I don't think cream would look good. The dress is quite neutral so think your accessories need to stand out more. Black or navy maybe? Chocolate brown could be lovely too.

    The dress looks kind of pink-y on my screen so red or dark pink could work. Metallics nearly always work with neutral tones too.

    Cream would make it far too wishy washy.
