    Environment error,
ZTI error-non zero return code by ZTINIC config=1
    Lite touch deployment failed
    Return code 2147467259 0x80004005.
This is the error I get when trying to deploy lite touch xp pro off a network boot on to theses W7 LAPTOPS. They need to be xp to join a domain. can anyone help with this please or advise. Thank you in advance.

did you leave free space on the drive ? as XP may not like W7 partitions

When deploying lite touch to install xp it creates a partition and formats the whole disk for it's own use, during the install it prompts you with a warning about all current data being wiped/lost. I also wiped the disk manually, once using a fresh install of xp pro from a cd, ( which also failed) and once by using a disk wipe utility. In the end I had to reinstall W7 so the user actually had a laptop to use.

and the deployment has the correct drivers for chipset, HDD controller and video card ?

and the thingy you are using for pushing the image has drivers for the network card ?

Firstly, thanks for the help, it was mainly a nic driver issue aswell as an image overlay issue. The 'heads' in the UK re-built/reconfigured the image and it loads up fine now.
