High Heels Slipping

    Hey guys,

I'm not sure if it's because my feet are narrow or my ankles are a funny shape but I find it impossible to get heels that don't slip off. I'm having the problem with every pair I own. Length wise they are all a perfect fit so not much I can do there.

I've tried using those inserts you put to the back of the shoe but they don't seem to really work, plus they tend to come loose after a coupe of hours.

Does anyone know of any other solutions/products I could try?

Have had this problem for years, was told in a shoe shop i had skinny ankles, I have given up buying slip on high heel ie court shoes. Tried everything, all the insoles, gel things for the back etc, nothing worked

I now buy shoes that have a strap accross the front - mary jane style. It just wasn't worth all the hassle and discomfort.

I have a couple of pairs of shoes that this happens with, I put in a pair of my son's socks, on top of a pair of insoles and it works a treat! Just seems to make everything tighter, and they don't slip.

The inserts you are using are they they the plastic/rubbery ones or the leather ones?? I have the same problem and find the plastic inserts rubbish, but the leather ones really work well. Gripping ure heal without hurting. :-)

Yeah, it's the rubbery one's I have. They are pretty much useless. Where did you pick up the leather ones? Do they actually stay attached?

I buy shoes with straps now because I have given up trying to keep them on properly!

I've had them in a pair of black stilettos that i wear all the time and the leather grips haven't moved. I got them in a local chemist i think scholl make them.
